This is where he developed his initial abstract style. Although his later works (Paris) are regarded as less significant, I enjoy the playfulness and impeccable sense of color and balance of this period/5(10). A very deep and thorough coverage of Kandinskys final phase, which mostly consisted of watercolours and works on paper.

I love this period as the great man finally releases his own constraints and produces a massive volume of just very nice pictures. Regards the book and the works reproduced are very large in number, but most are in black and 4/4(2). The book offers diverse potential for different types of study, whether one is reading for information or for pleasure.
